Now that the eggs have hatched, we now have a full family set up, and we are now happier than I thought we could ever be.
The next day, we were both tending our new cubs, watching them and cuddling with them even more. They all squealed and went "Mew!" a lot. Neither of us could resist their adorableness. It was cuteness overload.
They all couldn't walk yet, or even be mobile in any sort of way. Of course, they just hatched. They all laid on their backs, and we picked them up to get them to different spots.
I held Jonathan in my arms, with his back laying on my forearms, and his small head laying in the palms of my paws. He was smiling and going mew at me.
"They're so tiny!" I said happily with a smile.
"I know, AREN'T THEY THE MOST CUTEST THINGS EVER??" she said as she snuggled Anna and Hayley in her arms.
I then hugged Jonathan, and then gave him to Angela saying "Go see mommma now." with a smile at him while Angela then gave me Hayley, as she said "Go to daddy." with a smile to her.
"Hey there, my daughter! Well.. one of my daughters!" I said to her.
She stared at me for a few seconds, then smiled at me when she saw me.
I laid down next to Angela so they could all play with both of us.
Angela tried to lay Jonathan on the ground in a sitting position, but that's when he accidentally fell backwards on his head, hard.
We both froze as we saw that happen.
"WWAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" he wailed.
"Aawwwwww.... come here!" Angela said softly as she picked him up, and held him in her arms.
He kept going "WAAAAAHHHHHH!" for another couple of seconds. "Shhhhh, sssssshhhhhhhhhhhhh, it's okay! Momma's got ya!" she said softly to him as she gently patted his head, and then licked it to make him feel better.
Soon, he stopped crying.
She then brought them all to her arms, and kissed them all. They all mewed and cooed to the warmth of their mother.
"Angela?" I asked.
"I have a feeling we're gonna make great parents."
"Me too." she said as she gently nuzzled to our cubs that still sat in her arms.
We then nuzzled as well.
A week and a half later, while they still have yet to learn how to stand and walk, they all shorty began to learn how to move their legs. They can't walk yet, but they've discovered their legs and arms. Jonathan seems to have slower progress than his sisters. We can't figure out why.
They have recently discovered their own tails. Jonathan discovered his by grabbing it. Hayley discovered hers by learning how to move it all by herself. Anna discovered her tail by pretty much both how Jonathan and Hayley discovered theirs at the same time.
We both hope that we can raise a healthy, happy family, and that we really hope that we could raise them in a good way instead of how my parents treated me, and how Angela was treated by those institutions all that time ago.
